This Privacy Policy explains how DubLuv collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use the DubLuv mobile application and related services.
By using DubLuv, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the application.
Definitions
For this Privacy Policy:
- Application means DubLuv, the mobile application provided by DubLuv.
- Company, we, us, or our means DubLuv.
- Service means the Application and related features, systems, websites, support channels, and backend services.
- Account means a unique account created for you to access the Service.
- Personal Data or Personal Information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
- Usage Data means data collected automatically when you use the Service.
- Device means a device that can access the Service, such as a phone, tablet, or computer.

Information We Collect
Account and Profile Information

Content and Activity Information
DubLuv includes social, chat, room, rewards, and profile features. We may collect and process information related to your use of those features, including:
- Messages, room participation, room details, user-generated content, posts, gifts, reactions, and interactions with other users.
- Profile customizations, virtual items, badges, levels, wallet or reward activity, and purchase-related entitlements.
- Support requests, reports, moderation information, and communications with us.
Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Data
Usage Data may be collected automatically and may include:
- IP address, device type, operating system, app version, language, region, device identifiers, and crash or diagnostic information.
- Feature usage, screens viewed, dates and times of activity, session data, logs, and performance data.
- Information used to detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical issues.
Permissions and Information Collected Through Device Features
With your permission, the Application may access device features to provide app functionality, including:
- Camera and photo library: to let you capture, upload, or share profile photos, images, and other media.
- Microphone and audio: to support voice, audio, chat room, and media-related features where available.
- Notifications: to send account, room, message, purchase, reward, safety, and service updates.
- Music or media library access: where available, to support playlist or music-related features.
- Bluetooth and local network access: where requested by the operating system for audio, device, or connectivity features.
You can enable or disable app permissions at any time through your device settings. Some features may not work correctly if required permissions are disabled.
Purchases and Subscriptions
DubLuv may offer in-app purchases, virtual items, and auto-renewable subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other payment providers. We do not collect or store your full payment card number.
We may receive and store purchase-related information, such as product identifiers, subscription status, transaction identifiers, renewal status, entitlement status, expiration dates, cancellation status, and purchase history, so we can provide purchased features and support your account.
How We Use Personal Data
We use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To create, authenticate, and manage accounts.
- To enable chat, room, profile, social, audio, media, rewards, subscription, and purchase features.
- To process purchases, maintain entitlements, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.
- To send service messages, security alerts, support responses, notices, and updates.
- To personalize content, features, rewards, and user experience.
- To monitor usage, diagnose issues, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- To enforce our Terms, protect users, investigate abuse, and maintain safety and security.

How We Share Information

- With Service Providers: vendors that help us operate hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting, payments, subscription management, customer support, notifications, moderation, and similar services.
- With payment and subscription providers: including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and similar providers to process purchases, verify entitlements, restore purchases, and manage subscriptions.
- With other users: information you choose to share in public or social areas may be visible to other users.
- For safety and legal reasons: to protect rights, property, users, the public, or the Service, and to comply with law or legal process.
- For business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
- With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you and authorized by you.
Third-Party Services
The Service may use third-party services that process information under their own terms and privacy policies. These may include services for app distribution, authentication, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, payments, subscriptions, and support, such as Apple services, Google Play Services, Firebase, Supabase, RevenueCat, and related infrastructure providers.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third-party services.
Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Retention periods may vary by category:
- Account information: retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months after account closure where needed for support, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
- Customer support data: retained for up to 24 months after the support request is closed.
- Usage, diagnostic, and security logs: retained for up to 24 months, unless needed longer for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, or legal obligations.
- Purchase and subscription records: retained as needed to provide entitlements, restore purchases, comply with accounting or tax requirements, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.
- User content: retained while your account or related feature remains active, unless deleted by you or removed under our policies.
When retention periods expire, we delete, anonymize, or aggregate information where reasonably possible. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time and are not restored except for security, disaster recovery, or legal compliance.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our Service Providers operate. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict processing of your Personal Data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You may update certain account information inside the Application. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance.
We may need to retain some information where required by law, for security, to prevent fraud or abuse, to complete transactions, to resolve disputes, or to enforce agreements.
Deleting Your Account or Personal Data
You may request deletion of your Personal Data by contacting us at the email address below. If the Application offers account deletion tools, you may also use those tools from within the app.
Deleting your account may remove access to content, purchases, rewards, virtual items, subscriptions, and other features. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through the app store account where the subscription was purchased.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

The Service may contain links to websites or services not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites or services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Privacy Policy with a new "Last updated" date. Changes are effective when posted, unless stated otherwise.
